MAGES. surfing multimedia project “WAVE!!” is confirmed to inspire three anime films. The first movie will open in Japan’s theatres in 2020.
The project is created by the production team of B-PROJECT and Meiji Tokyo Renka, and is centered around the hot-blooded story of eight young surfers. Illustrator Yomi Sarachi (さらちよみ ) is responsible for character designs. A smartphone game is also under development.

When we are surfing on the ocean, we are free!
Born and raised on the shore of Ibaraki, Masaki Hinaoka knows the power of waves and tides. But only does he learn the appeal of surfing when he meets the prince-like transfer student Sho Akitsuki. He is captured by the beauty of the ocean and keeps on overcoming different tides ever since.
