Based on the 2003 adult video game “Muv-Luv”, aNCHOR today (29th May) starts streaming a teaser trailer for the franchise’s anime adaptation “Muv-Luv Alternative” (マブラヴ オルタネイティヴ), and the first PV for its upcoming games “Project Immortal” and “Project MIKHAIL”.

“Project Immortal” first appeared as a fan project presented by Kitakuou (きたくおう) at the franchise’s “Still Breathing” 20th-anniversary event. His presentation won huge fan’s support and was decided to be developed into a smartphone game under the supervision of “Muv-Luv” general producer tororo. The game is set to release in 2021 for PC, iOS, and Android devices.
In the game, players will be able to command the Tactical Surface Fighters (戦術歩行戦闘機) to fight against the aliens, known as BETA and builds teams with the signature characters from the franchise.
It also features a four-player co-op mode, zero stamina stages, and offline support, so it will still be playable even if it ends service.

▍“Project MIKHAIL”
“Project MIKHAIL” is an action game, which is set to release in 2021 for PC, iOS and Android devices. It will also launch in English.
The game allows players to freely customize your Tactical Surface Fighters between each mission, and each mission is separated by dialogue scenes similar to the ones seen in the original visual novel games.
Also, the game will not include a gacha system to get new characters, TSFs, weapons, or parts. Instead, a subscription system will be available. And the game will keep adding new scenarios and content.
