Shiro Manta’s ( しろまんた) romantic comedy manga “My Senpai Is Annoying” (先輩がうざい後輩の話) is confirmed to inspire a TV anime adaptation. The series is animating by Doga Kobo, the studio that produced Sing “Yesterday” for Me and “Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater.”
Though the anime project has not confirmed the cast members, the manga has streamed three promotional videos for its second, third, and fourth volumes, featuring the cast members Haruka Shiraishi (白石晴香) as Igarashi (五十嵐) and Takaya Kuroda (黒田崇矢) as Takeda (武田).

▍About “My Senpai Is Annoying”
“My Senpai Is Annoying” was originally serialized on the pixiv Comic website under the comic Poolweb magazine banner in 2017. The series won the web manga division of the Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Awards (次にくるマンガ大賞2018) in 2018. Ichijinsha published the manga into four compiled book volumes, and it will publish the fifth volume on 2nd July 2020.
The story centers on Igarashi, a hardworking young office lady, and Takeda, the senpai at her workplace. Though Igarashi finds him annoying– yet she finds herself growing closer to him. Every day is filled with comic mishaps and romantic moments as Igarashi tries to balance work, life, and love.
