Nanashi’s (ナナシ) romantic comedy “Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro” (イジらないで、長瀞さん) is confirmed to inspire an TV anime. Sumire Uesaka (上坂すみれ) will play as the heroine Hayase Nagatoro (長瀞 早瀬).
The series will be directed by “Dances with the Dragons” director Hirokazu Hanai (花井宏和) and animated Telecom Animation Film, with “Haikyu!!” script writer Taku Kishimoto (岸本卓) supervising the scripts.

The manga was first posted on Pixiv on 16th August 2011. The web manga then began its serialization in Magazine Pocket, an online and app based web manga magazine published by Kodansha,on 1st November 2017.
The story starts when an introverted male student meets a sadistic girl called Nagatoro. She first quietly observes his reaction to verbal abuse from some other high-school girls that are not well-meaning, realizes that oddly enough in his case it may be exactly what he needs, and so begins a sequence of her teasing him. It soon becomes increasingly obvious that her teasing is actually sardonic, well-intentioned, and flirtatious, but he eventually starts to catch on.
