The TV anime adaptation of Kei Sazane’s (細音啓) light novel series “Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World” (キミと僕の最後の戦場、あるいは世界が始まる聖戦) reveals the 2nd PV, theme song details, additional cast and staff. The series is scheduled to premiere in October 2020.
The PV previews the ending song “Ice Bird’s Cage” (氷の鳥籠) performed by Sora Amamiya as her character, Aliceliese. The opening song “Against.” is performed by voice actress Kaori Ishihara (石原夏織).

■ Nene Alkastone – CV: Kaori Ishihara (石原夏織)
She is a cheerful girl in Iska’s unit. She works as their field mechanic, and has advanced education and knowledge of technology used by the Heavenly Empire. Due to her expertise and knowledge, she is often entrusted to test new technology and weapons in the field.
■ Mismis Klass – CV: Shiraki Nao (白城なお)
Mismis is the empathetic captain of Iska’s squad. She has a big heart and good understanding of the needs of her squad, oftentimes understanding what they need better than they do. She is very petite and short. She still manages to be very curvy despite her short stature.
■ Jhin Syulargun – CV: Shun’ichi Toki (土岐隼一)
Jhin is a calm sniper in Iska’s unit. He follows the same sword master as Iska. Though he has an unfriendly face and sharp tongue, he cares a lot for his squad.
■ Rin Vispose – CV: Yumiri Hanamori (花守ゆみり)
Rin is Aliceliese’s attendant and bodyguard. She is a master of many different martial arts and assassination techniques, as well as a user of Earthen astral power.
▍Synopsis
For years, a great war has raged on between the scientifically advanced Empire and a paradise of witches known as the Nebulis Sovereignty. This age-old battle sets the scene for a fateful encounter between two young combatants: an imperial swordsman, Iska, and the witch princess, Aliceliese.
As sworn enemies, they vow to cut each other down in order to unite their worlds, and yet Iska finds himself entranced by her beauty and righteousness, while Aliceliese is moved by his strength and resolve.
In the midst of a never-ending war that forbids them from being together, they have no choice but to destroy each other-or can they find another way?
