Since the day I hatched from my egg, things have been going very pretty well. From time to time food will appear in front of us to keep us from starving. Sometimes we get healthy salads, sometimes we get fish, and occasionally we’re treated with a delicious cut of steak.
As our peaceful days continued, things began to change. As our world began to grow with new cliffs for us to climb and campfires that keep us warm during the night, food became more scarce and worse of all new species began to corrupt our race. These new species came in difference size and forms. Just the other day I swear I saw a giant face lurking near the campfire.
With food becoming harder to get, I decided to plant offerings to the almighty being that grants us food. Following my actions, many of my brethren planted their own offerings. I’m sure this would help the almighty being in granting us more food!
To further please the almighty one, I decided to join the "Games" (ゲ-ム), the Oyaji Derby (オヤジ.ダ-ビ-) a grand race between 5 oyaji where winner takes home a handsome amount of prize money.
Unfortunately, I didn’t take home any prize, but I met him, a gruesome zombie oyaji with a gentle heart the size of an ocean. Through his comforting groans i got over my loss and gained something so much more. Long talks by the warm flames of the campfire fueled our mutual feelings and I found love when I least expect it.
As our love blossomed, new life was created in a form of an egg.
As days go by, our offspring grows larger and finally evolves into an adult. As he changes into his final form, he sheds his smaller Oyaji shape and became something I’m oh-so-familiar with, the giant face in the past. That’s when I realized that new species was not a corruption, but a blessing, making our small little world more vibrant and vivid.
