Aniplex yesterday (2th August) streamed the official trailer for the upcoming “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train,” which is set to open in Japan on 16th October 2020. It is also announced that the movie will debut in theaters in the USA and Canada in 2021.
The official trailer previews the movie theme song, “Homura” (炎) by LiSA, who breaks several records with the ‘“Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” anime series’ theme song “Gurenge” (紅蓮華).
The movie adapts the manga’s Demon Train Arc, where Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke take the Infinity Train in search of Kyojuro Rengoku, the Flame Pillar, who was on a mission to kill a Demon suspected to be the cause for multiple disappearances on the train.

The anime film is a direct sequel of the anime’s first season, with staff and cast reprising their roles. The series is directed by Haruo Sotozaki (外崎春雄) and animated by Ufotable, with scripts by the Ufotable staff .Akira Matsushima (松島晃) is the character designer and animation chef director.
