The surfing anime film trilogy “WAVE!!” yesterday (5th August) revealed the key visual and official trailer. The first movie of the trilogy will open on 2nd October 2020 in Japan, while the second and the third movie will open on 16th and 30th October 2020 respectively.
The official trailer previews the opening theme song “Legendary Surf Prince” (伝説のサーフプリンス) performed by the cast members, Tomoaki Maeno, Jin Ogasawara, Yoshiki Nakajima, Takuya Satō, Yusuke Shirai, Shun’ichi Toki, Nobuhiko Okamoto, and Showtaro Morikubo. Maeno, Ogasawara and Nakajima also performs the ending song of the first movie “BEAT BLUE BEAT.”

▍Synopsis
When we are surfing on the ocean, we are free!
Born and raised on the shore of Ibaraki, Masaki Hinaoka knows the power of waves and tides. But only does he learn the appeal of surfing when he meets the prince-like transfer student Sho Akitsuki. He is captured by the beauty of the ocean and keeps on overcoming different tides ever since.
