▍About “The Demon Girl Next Door”
“The Demon Girl Next Door” is a four-panel manga created by Izumo Itō (伊藤いづも) and it has started serializing in Houbunsha’s seinen manga magazine Manga Time Kirara Carat since 2014. An anime television series adaptation by J.C.Staff aired between July and September 2019.
The story centers around Yuko Yoshida,an ordinary school girl — until one day her dormant, devilish powers are unleashed by the demon Lilith! She transforms into Shadow Mistress Yuko, a supernatural powerhouse with horns and a devil tail. Now she must defeat another mystical being named Momo Chiyoda, the shrine maiden of the Light Clan… who just so happens to go to Yuko’s school! But being a demonic magical girl isn’t as easy as it looks, and Yuko has a whole lot to learn before she’s ready to fulfill her destiny and take on the Clan of Light.
