A smartphone game adaptation was announced for Rifujin na Magonote’s “Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation” light novel series in 2021 during a live stream on 10th October. The series’ anime adaptation was also confirmed to premiere in January 2021.
The smartphone game is titled “Mushoku Tensei: Game ni Nattemo Honki Dasu” (無職転生~ゲームになっても本気だす~) and a teaser site has been opened to preview the game.

“Mushoku Tensei: Game ni Nattemo Honki Dasu” is a mobile RPG which allows players to take adventure in the “Mushoku Tensei” universe with the characters from the series.

Daisuke Namikawa will be joining the anime’s cast as the warrior Ruijerd Superdia. Studio Bind is animating the series and Manau Okamoto, director of “Gamers!”, will be directing the series.
The story of “Mushoku Tensei” centers on an unemployed thirty-four-year-old otaku , who is reborn into an infant’s body in a strange new world of swords and magic. Retaining the memories of his previous life, he struggles to redeem himself in a wondrous yet dangerous world.
