Created by Tsuina Miura and Takahiro Oba, the death-game manga “High-Rise Invasion” (天空侵犯) is getting a Netflix original anime series in February 2021.
The series follows high school student Yuri Honjo, who finds herself lost in an “abnormal space” where countless skyscrapers are connected by suspension bridges and “masked figures” mercilessly slaughter their confused and fleeing victims. To survive in this hellish world, she has two choices: kill the masked figures or be killed.
“Ajin: Demi-Human” manga writer Tsuina Miura is credited for the original work, while “Ganbare! Odenkun” director Masahiro Takata is directing the series at Zero-G.
