Love&Art’s surfing-themed project “WAVE!!” confirms that the “WAVE!! Surfing Yappe!!” (WAVE!!～サーフィンやっぺ!!～) anime film trilogy will have a TV anime “complete edition” that will premiere on 11th January 2021.
The project is created by the production team of B-PROJECT and Meiji Tokyo Renka, and is centered around the hot-blooded story of eight young surfers. Illustrator Yomi Sarachi is responsible for character designs. A smartphone game is also under development.
The first movie of the anime film trilogy opened on 2nd October 2020 in Japan, while the second and the third movie opened on 16th and 30th October 2020 respectively.
A new PV is revealed, previewing the opening song “Shigeki Surfer Boy” (刺激サーファーボーイ！) and the ending song “One more chance, One Ocean”.

When we are surfing on the ocean, we are free!
Born and raised on the shore of Ibaraki, Masaki Hinaoka knows the power of waves and tides. But only does he learn the appeal of surfing when he meets the prince-like transfer student Sho Akitsuki. He is captured by the beauty of the ocean and keeps on overcoming different tides ever since.
