The first PV for “Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S” has been unveiled! The new PV shows the characters discussing the meaning behind the season’s “S” and Iruru the new character who will be introduced in the upcoming season.

▍Staff
The second season will be directed by Tatsuya Ishihara, whilst the late Yasuhiro Takemoto who directed the first season is credited as the series director. Shoko Ochiai will take on the role of Art Director after the late Mikiko Watanabe. Yuka Yamada will once again oversee the series’ script. Nobuaki Maruki will reprise the role of Chief Animation Director and Miku Kadowaki will return to oversee Character Designs. Hiroki Ueda is listed as the Director of Photography.
Norihiro Tomiita will reprise the role of 3D Director alongside Joji Unoguchi who will be returning as the 3D Artist. Azumi Hata who worked on Free!-Take Your Marks- is listed as the Color Key Artist. Yota Tsuruoka will reprise the role of Sound Director and Masumi Itou will return to compose for the series.
Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid S is set to premiere in Japan in July 2021.

▍About the Series
Kobayashi is an office worker and programmer, who one day is greeted by a large dragon right outside her front door. The dragon immediately transforms into a human girl in a maid outfit and introduces herself as Tohru.
It turns out that during a drunken excursion into the mountains the night before, Kobayashi had encountered the dragon, who claimed to have come from another world. Subsequently, Kobayashi had removed a holy sword from Tohru’s back, earning her gratitude. With Tohru having no place to stay, Kobayashi offers to let the dragon stay at her home and become her personal maid.
