Upcoming mobile RPG SINoALICE has released original artworks of four characters to celebrate over 70,000 pre-registrations. The game is developed by Square Enix and Pokelabo.
Characters are designed by Square Enix’s illustrator Gino（ジノ）. The comments below the pictures are made by him and the game’s producer Yoko Taro（横尾 太郎）.
Alice（CV: M・A・O）
Gino: This character is based on Gothic swordsmen. She is weak in defence but her attack is strong and heavy.
Yoko Taro: Kawaii! It will sell well!
Snow White（CV: Reina Ueda）
Gino: If Alice is a swordsman, Snow White must be a lord. She has a broad sword with a gun installed in there and wears a white cape. Her defence is probably better than Alice’s…

Little Red Riding Hood（CV: Ayaka Imamura）
Gino: Most people like short-haired Little Red Riding Hood. Then I should go against the popular opinion.

Sleeping Beauty（CV: Kaede Hondo）
Gino: Sleeping Beauty looks weird in a battle attire, and hence I drew her in normal clothes. I wanted to make her weapons look cool but they ended up looking like that. Guess I have to come up with a new design.

SINoALICE is produced and written by Nier: Automata’s production director/scriptwriter Yoko Taro. It is set in a world called Library, a place where fairy tales keep repeating themselves and the protagonists are imprisoned. These characters’ goal is to revive the authors of the stories they belong to.
