The TV anime adaptation Ceez’s In the Land of Leadale fantasy light novels has revealed a new key visual, first promotional video, and main cast. It will premiere in January 2022.
The series centers on Cayna, who wakes up in the VRMMORPG World of Leadale after a horrific accident puts her on life support. Eri Yukimura takes the role of Cayna.
The anime is directed by By the Grace of the Gods director Masayuki Yanase and animated by MAHO FILM. How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord script writer Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is supervising and writing the series scripts. Toshihide Masudate, Eri Kojima, and Kaho Deguchi are designing the characters.

▍Synopsis
After a horrific accident put her on life support, the last vestige of freedom Keina Kagami had was in the VRMMORPG World of Leadale. When she wakes up in the body of her game avatar, though, Keina-now Cayna-finds that the worries of her old life appear to be a thing of the past, but somehow this new land doesn’t seem to be quite the Leadale she remembers…
