During today’s (18 Aug) “Pokemon Presents”, the Pokemon franchise announced that the upcoming remake titles of the pokemon generation IV, Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, are officially available for pre-order! Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl will be available for the Nintendo Switch on 19th November 2021.
▍About the Game
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl are remakes of generation IV (Diamond & Pearl) of the original Pokémon RPG series. As with the original Diamond and Pearl titles, the new remakes will take place in the Sinnoh region.
During the “Pokémon Presents” live-stream, the franchise also revealed additional in-game footage for the upcoming remake titles. In addition to some of the characters that will be appearing in the game, the live-stream also revealed new features including Poké Ball stickers and the Super Contests that were available in the original games.
In the footage revealed during the live-stream, it appears that the player’s Pokémon will also follow the player around when exploring the remade region and the new Grand Underground region which will feature different monsters depending on the statues in your secret base. Some Pokémon will also be exclusive to the Grand Underground.

▍Dialga & Palkia Switch Lite
In commemoration of the two upcoming titles, Nintendo will also release a new Dialga & Palkia Edition Nintendo Switch Lite. The Dialga & Palkia Switch Lite will release on 5th November 2021, just before the launch of the games.
