Kengo Hanazawa’s Under Ninja is confirmed to inspire a TV anime adaptation. The series centers on Kuro Kumogakure, a hidden Ninja who lives as a NEET in modern Japan.

Under Ninja is written and illustrated by Kengo Hanazawa, the author of Boys on the Run and I Am a Hero. Hanazawa launched the manga in Kodansha’s Weekly Young Magazine on July 23, 2018. Kodansha later collected its chapters into individual tankōbon volumes.The manga’s sixth volume released on September 6.
