CyberStep is joining hands with ScopeNext to reboot the Black Stella mobile game project under the name of BLACK STELLA Iи:FernØ. The game is set to release in spring 2022. A new teaser site has been opened in coincidence with the announcement.
Black Stella was first announced by Fuji Games in March 2019 but the project was shut down on September 30, 2019. The project is known by its star-studded creator including scenarios written by Re:Zero author Tappei Nagatsuki and How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend author Fumiaki Maruto. The world setting is created by Girls und Panzer’s Takaaki Suzuki. Kingdom Hearts’ Yoko Shimomura is one of the composers.

In 1999, a series of mysterious explosions wiped out half of the population of Tokyo.
A gigantic crater suddenly appears with unidentified monsters swallowing the entire Minato ward. And because of this, Tokyo has been isolated by Japan and the rest of the world.
▍New Features
The original Black Stella featured turn-based command battles with 2D characters. But in BLACK STELLA Iи: FernØ” the multiplayer real-time battle has been renewed to suit the game’s worldview. The character also features 3D graphics based on character design by illustrator Oguchi.
