Black Rock Shooter media franchise announced a new anime project Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall. Though no further details have been shared, a new visual created by the illustrator huke is revealed for the announcement.
▍About Black Rock Shooter
Black Rock Shooter is a Japanese media franchise based on characters created by illustrator Ryohei Fuke also known as huke. It revolves around its eponymous character, a mysterious black haired girl with a blazing blue eye. The original illustration inspired a song of the same name by Supercell featuring the Vocaloid Hatsune Miku, which gained popularity on the Nico Nico Douga website.
The franchise has inspired a 50-minute original video animation studio Ordet, a TV anime in 2012, as well as spinoff manga, games, and goods depicting the character.
While each piece of media takes place in its own universe, they each focus around Black Rock Shooter, a mysterious black haired girl who possesses a burning blue eye and a powerful cannon that can shoot rapid shots at high speed. Other characters also appear in more than one form of media.
