f4samurai announced that it is developing a new Ange Vierge smartphone game, titled Ange Relink at “f4 Fan Festival part3” held online on December 5.
The new game is a sequel to the Ange Vierge ~ Girls Battle ~ mobile RPG, which will shut down on December 20, 2021. The game will feature live 2D graphics and 3D animation. New characters will also be joining the series. Though no further information has been revealed for the game, several in-game illustrations are revealed.
Ange Vierge is originally a digital collectible card game released by Kadokawa’s Fujimi Shobo and Media Factory. The franchise released a mobile game titled Ange Vierge: Girls Battle on December 18, 2013.
The story of the card game follows what happens when “Hairou” portals suddenly open, fusing five different worlds together. As a result, various mysterious powers are awakened in teenage girls. An academy for these so-called “Progress” girls is built on the isolated Seiran Island in the Pacific.
