▍About Xenoblade Chronicles
Xenoblade Chronicles is a series of action role-playing games developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo. It is a part of the Xeno metaseries created by Tetsuya Takahashi, but was formed after Nintendo’s acquisition of Monolith Soft in 2007. The series began with the original Xenoblade Chronicles game, published for the Nintendo Wii in 2010.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 released December 1, 2017, and was a successful sequel to the title on Switch. Later, the first game from the Wii was remastered as Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, which featured extra content that took place 6 months after the base game.
There’s also a spin-off title called Xenoblade Chronicles X, which was released on the Wii U, and featured a completely separate story from the mainline titles.
