The second season of the In/Spectre anime was confirmed to debut in October 2022. It also revealed a new key visual and two additional cast.
The story revolves around Kotoko Iwanaga and Kurō Sakuragawa, two unique individuals who were touched by Yokai, gaining additional powers, but in exchange for these powers, Kotoko had to give up an eye and a leg whilst Kuro’s personal life is in a mess. Together they team up to deal with renegades from the spirit world.
In/Spectre is originally a novel series published by Kodansha and written by Kyo Shirodaira with illustrations by Hiro Kyohara and since volume 2, by Chasiba Katase. A manga adaptation with art by Chasiba Katase has been serialized since April 2015 in Kodansha’s shōnen manga magazine Shōnen Magazine R. The anime’s first season was broadcasted in January 2020.
Aoi Yuki plays as Yuki Onna, a snow yokai who lives in the mountain and Makoto Furukawa as Masayuki Muroi, a man who don’t trust any living souls.
