The High Card multimedia project is getting a TV anime in 2023. A teaser visual, PV and main staffs were revealed.
High Card is a new poker-themed multimedia project co-created by TMS Entertainment, Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler manga writer Homura Kawamoto and novel author Hikaru Muno. It will include a TV anime, manga and novel series.
The project centers on a secret group of players known as High Card, who directly received ordered by the king of Fourland to collect cards that was scattered around the kingdom while disguise their identity as the employees of the luxury carmaker Pinochle. Scouted to become the group’s fifth member, Finn soon joins the players on a dangerous mission to find these cards.
The anime ‘s director is Junichi Wada. who also directed The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan, Caligula and Sakugan. Nozomi Kawano is the character designer of the anime. Studio Hibari is the animation studio.
