A new Black Clover 7th Anniversary Special PV was released on Jump’s official YouTube channel to commemorate the 7th anniversary of the Black Clover manga series. The video also revealed a 2023 window for the upcoming Black Clover anime film.
The PV was created with the original cut from the anime and manga, including Asta’s final battle at the Spade Kingdom Raid Arc. The dignified appearance of each character who is expected to show their appearance in the movie.
The manga’s original creator, Yūki Tabata, will serve as chief supervisor and original character designer of the anime film.
▍Black Cover Theme Song Best Album
Also, “Black Clover Theme Song Best 2,” an album of theme songs from the TV anime Black Clover, will be released on May 25. The jacket illustration of the album was also revealed, which is a reversible cover that will change which character is displayed on the front.
This album includes all the theme songs from the 9th season onward, including “Black Catcher” by Bikke Blanka, “Stories” and “Grandeur” by Snow Man, “Everlasting Shine” by Tomorrow X Together, and “Answer” by Hanafu. The new collection will include the following The CD will also include the song “POSSIBLE” by “Clover x Clover,” a unit consisting of Takehito Kajiwara (Asta) and Nobunaga Shimazaki (Yuno).
The limited first-purchase copies will come with a DVD containing transcripts of all of the songs in the collection.
▍About Black Clover
Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. The manga’s anime adaptation premiered in Japan in October 2017 and ended in its 170th episode on 30th March. The anime series is directed by “Yatterman Night” director and animated by Studio Pierrot.
The story centers around Asta, a young orphan who was raised from birth after being abandoned at an orphanage along with his fellow orphan, Yuno. Motivated by a desire to become the next Wizard King, an authority figure second to the king of Clover Kingdom, the two youths developed a friendly rivalry.
It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 2015, with its chapters collected in 31 tankōbon volumes as of January 2022. The manga was first adapted into an original video animation produced by Xebec Zwei, released in 2017. An anime television series adaptation produced by Pierrot aired in Japan on TV Tokyo from October 2017 to March 2021.
Crunchyroll streamed the series in Japanese with English subtitles, and Funimation streamed the show’s English dub. The anime debuted on Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block in December 2017.
