Wit Studio revealed the key visual and official trailer for its upcoming original anime series, Vampire in the Garden, which will stream on Netflix worldwide on May 16.
The announcement was made in a stage event at today’s Anime Japan 2022, which features the anime’s cast, Megumi Han and Yu Kobayashi, the voice of Momo and Fine.
Vampire in the Garden follows two young women — one a vampire, one a human — as they bond over the power of music despite the dissonance between their races. The two wish to defy everything set in front of them by the world, with human girl Momo wishing to play the violin and co-exist the way vampires and humans used to, while vampire queen Fine simply wants to explore a wider world than the one she’s been given.
The series is directed by Ryoutarou Makihara, with Hiroyuki Tanaka serves as assistant director. Tetsuya Nishio serves as character designer and chief animation director. Shunichiro Yoshihara is the art director and Satoshi Takabatake and Kazushi Fujii is in charge of art setting.
