Doge and the Lost Kitten is a fun experience that comes at no cost. The stages itself may not be the most adrenaline-pumping in the genre, but the challenges including finding the hidden cat statue and the time challenges make the game a lot compelling than it initially appears.

Although the costumes are purely for cosmetic purposes, the journey to collecting them all is quite enjoyable if you’re into collectibles.
The story itself isn’t exactly the most engaging plot, but for a platformer, it fits quite well. It may seem meaningless, but let us not forget that all Mario does is rescue Princess Peach. The story isn’t exactly the key point for platformers.
