Avex Pictures began streaming the official trailer for the anime film adaptation of Tetsuya Imai’s Break of Dawn/ Bokura no Yoake sci-fi manga. The company also revealed another key visual for the movie, as well as its October 21 opening date in Japanese theatres.
The trailer also reveals and previews the film’s theme song, “Before You Know It” (いつしか), which is performed by Daichi Miura, as well as the voices of actress Hana Sugisaki, who played the protagonist, Yūma.
Break of Dawn is described as a juvenile science fiction story set in the near-future year of 2049, where humanity has become aware for a number of years that the Earth will have an unavoidable collision with a large-scale comet.
The story focuses on Yūma, a boy obsessed with space, robots, and the impending collision. He has an encounter with an extraterrestrial being, which he finds out is connected to the incoming comet.
