D3 Publisher released the opening movie for the yuri samurai-action game, Samurai Maiden.
The game’s opening movie showcases more of the game’s action combat, while also revealing the voice actresses for the game’s main characters as well as giving us a glimpse of Nobunaga Oda! The opening movie also previews the theme song “Divine Tuning” performed by Yuki Yomichi, composed and arranged by Hisao Sasaki with lyrics by Ayaka Ota.
Samurai Maiden launches for the PS4, PS5, Switch, and PC via Steam on December 8 globally.

The game takes place in an alternate version of the Sengoku period, where an young woman from the 21st century is sent back in time to Honnoji. Upon arriving she quickly forms a friendship with a trio of three ninjas, and heads down through Honnoji’s underworld to stop the undead, rising at every turn and seeking vengeance on the living!
▍Samurai Maiden Gameplay
Samurai Maiden is a 3d hack-and-slash action game where you control Tsumugi Tamaori, a samurai. Wielding her katana you can execute combos by mixing light and heavy attacks, as well as call upon your three ninja friends during battle to aid you in combat by stunning, pulling enemies from afar, or dealing damage to them with a variety of special moves.
The game also features a bond system with your ninja friends. Using the Devoted Heart technique where samurai and ninjas lock lips, you can buff each other heavily during combat granting new abilities, a substantial power boost, and more!
