Bandai Namco Online’s next big open-world MMORPG, Blue Protocol officially has a release window of Spring 2023!
If you can’t wait that long to get your hands on the game, don’t worry as the game thankfully announced it is launching a closed Network Test that will run from January 14 to January 16. Unfortunately, the test is limited to those living in Japan and have a Bandai Namco ID, though if you fulfil that category, you can sign up for the test here.
Global players don’t need to worry though, as Bandai Namco also announced the game will be getting a trailer at The Game Awards 2022, suggesting the game could be getting a global release or announcement sooner than we thought!

Blue Protocol is an online ARPG by Bandai Namco Online, announced back in 2019.
The game features a fantasy set in the world of Regnus, a planet that was once inhabited by a divine tribe that held a mystical light with power so great they could even be considered gods.
But this is not that time. As several millennia have passed since the divine tribe walked the earth, and now only their remnants remain as parts of history. Humans have since emerged since that tribe left the planet, and they now search for the last remnants of the light left by that civilization.
In a world teeming with treasures, monsters, and towering structures, one relic stands out, and that’s a mystical object that can destroy the entire world, the “Planetary Beast”.
The game itself is a fast-paced online action game where you and several players online can band together to fight off against monsters across the world, and do quests, raids, and other activities together. The game features multiple classes with a character customization feature nd unique weapons that create your own playstyle, unique flair, and all in beautifully rendered 3D Graphics.
