TBS Animation recently published on their YouTube channel a brand new trailer for the TV anime adaptation of Nana Mikoshiba’s The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World light novel series. The trailer reveals that the anime will begin its broadcast on January 5, 2023. It also previews the anime’s opening song, “Dystopia”, by the musical group Sizuk.
The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World is a Japanese light novel series written by Nana Mikoshiba and illustrated by Riko Korie. It has been published online via the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō since October 2019. Kodansha Comics has licensed a manga adaptation.
The story takes place in the Arnold Academy of Magic, which is a school for the elite…and Ray White is just your ordinary guy. In fact, he doesn’t seem particularly skilled with magic at all and is a bit of a klutz. Which is why he has nothing to do with the rumor that one of the great magicians, the Iceblade Sorcerer, is a member of the incoming class…right?
