UNIVRS announced Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable, a full-fledged action VR game based on Hajime Isayama’s popular manga Attack on Titan. Along with the announcement, a teaser PV was released. The game is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2023.
Attack on Titan VR: Unbreakable is a 3D maneuverable hunting action game exclusively for Meta Quest 2. In this game, the player enters the world of Attack on Titan and becomes a member of the Scout Regiment to fight against the Titans for the survival of mankind.
The exhilaration of flying freely through the air by controlling your own 3D Maneuver Gear and the sense of despair of being exposed to the fear of being eaten by the Titans will finally be realized in VR as it was in the original story. The game development team also promises to make the world of Attack on Titan more realistic and enjoyable as if you were really in the middle of the action.
The game will be available with voice and text in both Japanese and English. A cooperative mode will also be available as up to 2 players can simultaneously enjoy the action.
It will be distributed on the Meta Quest Store platform and can be enjoyed with the Meta Quest 2 Hardware.
