Developer and publisher Gemdrops announced that the rhythm video game Kizuna AI -Touch The Beat! will launch for PlayStation 5 on February 23, as well as PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on April 27, 2023.
The PS5 version will support PlayStation VR2, while the PS4 version will support PlayStation VR. Apart from the digital versions, the PlayStation 4 and Switch versions will also be available physically in 5,720 yen standard and 12,100 yen limited editions in Japan.
The limited edition includes a special box, pen light, scarf towel, neck strap, card case, special staff card, silicon band, and a concert ticket individually numbered.

Kizuna AI – Touch The Beat! was originally released for the Meta Quest, featuring the virtual YouTuber Kizuna Ai. This new version on PS4 and PS5 allows players to enjoy the title with a traditional play scheme and a monitor, though if you want to immerse yourself in the way the game was originally intended, a VR headset will offer a more unique experience, letting you move around in the environment freely.
The new versions will have a newly added “Non-VR Mode” where you can play even without a VR device, as well as a “View Mode” that allows you freely move around the stage.
The game features 15 songs performed by Kizuna AI, including the popular “Hello, Morning” which boasts 2.17 million views. Additional songs, costumes, and other downloadable content are also planned after the release.
