Tasto Alpha announced that its previously named The Tower: To the Bottom roguelike deckbuilding game is delayed to April 20 2023, and now goes by the name of Arcana of Paradise: The Tower.
The name change was made to help increase visibility for the title and to better represent the game’s core mechanics featuring Arcana Tarot Cards. The delay itself is to give time for Tasto Alpha to add more content to the game on launch, and ranked leaderboards. Physical editions and a collector’s edition are also available for pre-order exclusively in Asia and Japan. A demo for the game is also available now on Steam.
Arcana of Paradise: The Tower is set to release for the Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on April 20 for USD$19.99. The game supports English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, German, French, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

Arcana of Paradise: The Tower is a roguelike real-time action card game where you lead a group of children down a tower from the top. As the group make their dangerous journey down the tower, you can pick up to 20 playable characters with unique starting cards. These cards are based on tarot arcana and behave appropriately.
Combat runs in real-time so it’s up to you to make split-second decisions in the heat of the moment, playing offensive and defensive cards at the right time to counter the opponent. If your hand is worse than you’d like you can also re-deal for new cards though it takes some time.
As the children are heading down the tower in search of food, you will come across rewards in the form of food or new cards, and it’s up to you to pick the more valuable reward when the time comes.
