Acro Trip is a Japanese shoujo manga series written and illustrated by Yone Sawata, serialized in Shueisha’s shoujo manga magazine Ribon from February 2017 to December 2022, with its chapters collected in five tankōbon volumes as of January 2023.
Chizuko Date, an otaku girl living in a city in Niigata Prefecture, has an obsession with Berry Blossom, the local magical girl who protects the city from the constant threats of Chroma, the inept and weak leader of the evil organization Fossa Magna, which is why almost no one else cares about Berry Blossom and Chroma’s frequent fights. Chizuko vows to shine a light on the magical girl’s exploits, and that fervent desire drives the seemingly shy high-school girl down a dark path filled with peculiar characters.
