It’s been almost 10 years since the Soul Eater manga series ended on August 12, 2013, and fans have been itching for something from it ever since. That long wait may be finally over as Soul Eater is doing a collaboration with the Fire Force: Enbu no Sho mobile game, and released a new image on its Store’s Twitter celebrating the anime’s 15th anniversary.
While there are currently few details regarding both events, the Fire Force collab will begin on March 23 to April 13 and is said to bring new collaboration characters long with a bunch of free Adora gems for pulls. The game is also currently running a countdown campaign to give players more rewards before the collaboration event starts!
The new teaser image was posted on the official Bones Store Twitter account, which seems to be the studio’s only remaining active Twitter account. The tweet says a broadcast for the anime’s 15th anniversary will begin at 18:00 [JST] on April 7, featuring “gorgeous new items’ from the show’s character designer and chief animation director Yoshiyuki Ito.
It’s not confirmed whether this will only be showcasing new merchandise, or have any announcements related to a new anime series, but this will be one of the first times we’ve ever seen the characters of Soul Eater drawn once again by the studio in over a decade.
