The Quintessential Quintuplets Gotopazu Story Delayed to June 29

Mages revealed a few new trailers and movies for the upcoming ADV game The Quintessential Quintuplets Gotopazu Story, but at the end of these videos, it was shown that the game was delayed from its May 25 release to June 29.

The developers posted a message on the game’s official Twitter account announcing the delay and said that it was necessary to “improve the game’s quality”, which likely means a couple of bug fixes and alterations to make the game run properly. In the meantime, you can check out the game’s opening movie, and a new 30-second trailer.

The Quintessential Quintuplets Gotopazu Story arrives on June 29 for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan.

Gotopazu Story is a port of the smartphone game The Quintessential Quintuplets: The Quintuplets Can’t Divide the Puzzle Into Five Equal, or Gotopazu.

The game is a collection of the 24 event memorial stories from the game which can all be unlocked yet again by solving bloc puzzles. Unlike the mobile game, these event stories and card scenarios can be enjoyed with full voice acting at any time without any restrictions or time requirements.

Being that the game will be playable on your big screen, you can now appreciate the game’s art at a higher resolution, and the game also includes the mobile game’s version of the main story, with parts of it being partially voice-acted.

The game will also be available in a limited edition, which includes a collection of in-game illustrations featuring each of the sisters, an art book, a special case for the art book, and a soundtrack CD.

Also, those who purchase both The Quintessential Quintuplets Gotopazu Story and the upcoming third installment of the console games The Quintessential Quintuplets: Five Promises Made With Her Visual Novel coming on September 7, on the same platform will receive a heartwarming drama featuring the Uesugi siblings as a gift.
