In late December 2022, the developers behind Idol Land Pripara were proud to announce that the game would finally, after multiple delays, be coming out in Spring 2023.
Well, that’s uhh… Still not happening, because Takara Tomy Arts just announced that the game has been delayed, for the 5th time since it was announced. The reason for the delay according to the developers was to “improve the quality of the game’s content and quality of the app”.
While it’s definitely incredibly annoying for Idol Land Pripara to get delayed again time after time, the developers have planned to announce an official release date sometime around June. Fingers crossed once more that they don’t delay that one…
▍About Idol Land Pripara
Idol Land Pripara is a mobile game based on the Pripara (or Prism Paradise) anime and game series. The game is at its core a rhythm game but also contains many elements of idol management, customization and interactions, letting you get closer to these idols and help them reach the top!
When you start the game you’ll be given an extensive array of options to customize your idols, with a range of facial expressions, head shapes, hairs, voices, accessories, and more.
Once you’ve made your idol, you can explore the grounds of the park to see the idols of friends and players around the world. These idols are all created by other players and you can tap on them to learn more about their idols, including their hobbies, self-introduction, and even creating your own signature for your idol!
Afterward, you can also communicate with other idols using a variety of emotes and stamps! You can even check out their photo albums which you can also add to later and collect followers and likes from fans and players, but more on that later.
f you want to change your look, the Prism store has you covered with new outfits weekly and monthly This collection of outfits will be available at a sweet deal with them rotating out, and purchasable individually but will come to the store in sets.
You can also take photos of your idols in various poses, or in outings with them as you take them out to eat, or go on trips together, or even set up gravure photoshoots in scenic locations.
Once you’ve purchased your outfits and customized your idol enough, you can atke them out to a rhythm game section to perform! You can watch your idols perform live while tapping on hearts to the beat, and certain songs may require you to have a dress code, so it’s best to purchase and collect as many outfits as possible.

While the game’s pre-registration phase has been going on for some time, the website has yet to update the numbers for its pre-registration count. Pre-registration rewards for Idol Land Pripara come in the form of new costumes, and idol coins, and at 100,000, you’ll receive the “Marionette Mu Welcome Psyllium Corde”!
