MyDearest, the developer of the immersive game Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate, announced the launch of its third and final episode, “End of Hallucinations” for PlayStation VR2 and Quest 2 platforms on July 13, 2023.
Titled “End of Hallucinations,” this conclusive chapter of the saga continues the journey of the protagonist Hal, who finds himself returning to a beleaguered Astrum Close. Teaming up with Maia, freshly roused from her sleep, Hal strategizes to halt the calamitous event at the Bureau.
As the city descends into illusion and the boundary between dream and reality becomes increasingly blurred, Hal is led to the doors of the clock tower. Here, the revelations of events that transpired a dozen years prior are waiting, and the time for the final judgment has come.
Quest 2 users can acquire this gripping finale for US14.99, while PlayStation VR2 users have the option of purchasing the episode for US$19.99 or opting for a bundle of all three episodes for US$39.99. Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate is currently available on PlayStation VR2 and Quest 2. MyDearest has further plans to expand the game’s accessibility with a non-virtual reality version for the Nintendo Switch, set to be released at a future date.

Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate takes place in the city of Astrum Close where the crime rate is only 0.01%. A special AI program ensures that residents of the city remain calm and safe, eradicating any want to commit violent or illegal acts.
Players will take on the role of Hal Scion, a young investigator who has a special ability called “Memory Dive.” The Memory Dive allows Hal to alter the past to see the present and uses this ability to help him with his investigations. When the founder of Astrum Close is found dead, Hal must take up the case to solve this impossible murder.
Everything players see could be a potential clue so paying attention and taking in every detail is paramount. Players can move around the game’s unique environments to discover and interact with items to help with their investigation. No one said being an investigator is easy. Players will also have to deal with the likes of Astrum Close City’s Integrated AI. Persuading the AI and winning over the city’s citizens is key to solving the mystery.
