Previously it seemed like Fate/Samurai Remnant would be getting its launch in Japan first, but Koei Tecmo America released the same trailer but with English subtitles, confirming that the game isn’t just coming to Japan, but also globally in English on September 29.
The game’s trailer as mentioned shows off the same content as its Japanese version but with the added benefit of English subtitles, and text describing its Treasure Box contents. Unfortunately, it seems like the English version of the game doesn’t have the Treasure Box + Figure DX version bundle that comes with a 1/7 statue of Miyamoto Musashi from the game, though reportedly the figure can be purchased separately from other retailers after the game’s launch.
The game also released the names and details of several of its characters including their names, voice actors, and portraits!
Fate/Samurai Remnant launches on September 29 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

▍Fate/Samurai Remnant Gameplay
Fate/Samurai Remnant is an action RPG and a hack-and-slash game where you primarily take on the perspective of Miyamoto Iori, Musashi Miyamoto’s adopted son.
The game is split into different sections, like letting you walk around towns to talk to its NPCs and purchase items, and the game’s combat where you’ll be cutting down the undead, and fighting against the other servants in a new Holy Grail War known as the Waxing Moon Ritual.
In this story, Miyamoto Iori is the master of an unknown samurai servant. The game places an emphasis on the bond the pair share, as this servant can help Iori out in traversal by vaulting them over high walls, and doing tag-team attacks during combat.
The game features of course some familiar faces, including that of Musashi Miyamoto, a figure Iori recognizes as his teacher, though whether or not he’s basing off her fighting style, or actually knows her is unknown, as in this game Musashi seems to appear as a Berserker-class servant without a master since she can be controlled by the player and helps out Iori.
Other faces including Jeanne D’arc Alter and other new unnamed servants to be introduced to the player, with even characters like Jeanne boasting new weapons from her FGO counterpart, wielding two spears rather than her flag and sword.
