Invincible, the hit comic book series and later critically acclaimed animated series on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service is getting a new mobile game! Titled Invincible: Guarding the Globe, the announcement trailer showed off the titular hero squaring off with villains and heroes alike. Co-developed by Ubisoft and Skybound Entertainment, the game will be a free-to-play idle RPG.
While the announcement gave no release date for the game other than that it would be tentatively “Coming Soon”, pre-registration is open, promising early adopters goodies upon the game’s launch.

The game will follow an original story campaign set in the universe of Invincible, where a new kind of threat, a mysterious band of cloned heroes and villains alike have been causing havoc across the globe. Players join up with the Global Defense Agency (GDA) to unravel the mystery of the deadly clone army working alongside Cecil Stedman, head of the GDA.
Choose from a roster of heroes including Atom Eve, Rex Splode, Monster Girl, and Omni-Man and his son Invincible. The Guardians of the Globe like Green Ghost, War Woman, Black Samson, and The Immortal have also been revealed to star in the game, though it might be advised to keep them far away from Omni-Man if you’re up to speed with the original works. Different heroes in the game have separate roles to play on the battlefield, with each of them being assigned classes, such as attacker, defender, and support.
While players won’t be able to assume direct control of the titular hero Invincible himself, you can recruit, manage and deploy heroes against the countless criminal attacks and galactic threats. You can even form teams of heroes and take them into battle against other players in squad-vs-squad battles!
