Season 2 of Baki Hanma, which is the third part of Keisuke Itagaki’s long-running Baki manga and anime series, released a new trailer previewing the 2nd half of the season, which will be all about the legendary clash between the Hanma family, of Baki and Yujiro!
Baki Hanma Season 2 has already started airing with the Tale of Pickle and Pickle and War Saga being viewable now on Netflix. The 2nd half of the season featuring The Father vs Son Saga begins on August 24. The newest trailer features the opening theme song “Sarracenia” performed by SKY-HI, and the ending theme song will be “Salvia” by BE:FIRST.
New Cast members were revealed as well, as Megumi Hayashibara will be playing the role of Emi Akezawa, Baki’s mother, Hidekatsu Shibata as Yuuichirou Hanma, and Fumihiko Tachiki as the legendary promoter Kaizer.

▍About Baki Hanma
Baki Hanma is the third series in the Baki the Grappler manga series by Keisuke Itagaki, an ongoing manga series about combat that’s been serialized since October 1991 is currently still an ongoing series. The manga has been adapted into multiple anime, games, and original animation series, with two series produced by Netflix, and a 48-episode anime season by Group TAC in 2001.
Baki Hanma follows the titular character who is on a journey of strength to become even more powerful than his father Yujiro Hanma, a ruthless man who is dubbed the strongest in the world, his strength being so legendary he can supposedly take down entire armies by himself and is also immune to military tactics, and even nuclear bombs.
One day Baki tries to challenge his father into a bout after becoming stronger, but his mother Emi tries to stop the fight to save him, in retaliation Yujiro kills Baki’s mother in front of him, leading the young man to go down a regime of brutal and unique training all in order to surpass his father and get his revenge.
Baki Hanma covers four key arcs, with the Combat Shadow Fighting Saga, Great Prison Battle Saga, Pickle Wars Saga, and The Strongest Father and Child Quarrel Saga, with the former two sagas already being adapted into an anime.
