Namori’s Ōmuro-Ke spin-off series based on YuruYuri is getting an anime film adaptation in 2024, screening first in Japan nationwide.
The films, titled “Dear Sisters” and “Dear Friends” will be shown in the country starting in 2024. The three Ōmuro sisters are being voiced by their original voice actors, including Emiri Kato as Sakurako Ōmuro, Chiwa Saito as Nadeshiko Ōmuro, and Rina Hidaka as Hanako Ōmuro. The director for both films is Naoyuki Tatsuwa, with the screenplay by Masahiro Yokotani, character design by Kazuyuki Ueta, and music by Yusuke Shirato with production done by LANTIS. The anime’s being produced by Passione x Studio Rings.

▍About Ōmuro-Ke
Ōmuro-Ke is a manga series created by Namori and is a spin-off series featuring the trio of Ōmuro sisters from the YuruYuri manga and anime series also by Namori.
The series was initially released on NicoNico Seiga and were released alongside season 2 of the anime exploring the daily lives of the Ōmuro sisters. In February of 2020, the series was nominated in AnimeJapan’s category of “Manga we’d most like to see get animated”.
The series features additional appearances from the other members of YuruYuri, including the Himawari Furutani and Kaede Furutani, Hanako’s other classmates, and Nadeshiko’s friends, some of which previously made cameo appearances in the anime.
