Bandai Namco Entertainment has unveiled an exciting announcement for Gundam fans worldwide as the English version of Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage, the latest addition to the Gundam mobile game lineup, is scheduled to release sometime in 2023! The game is now available for pre-registration on both the App Store and Google Play Store. The global version will keep Japanese voiceovers with English text for accessibility.
First launched in Japan on November 30, 2021, Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage is a 6vs6 war simulation game, in which players build a team with six mobile suits and pilots, and develop strategy according to the features of the mobile suits. The battle will run automatically, while strategy is the key to winning battles. There’s also a story mode for players to look back at the history of the Universal Century and relive the battles that took place in each era of the Universal Century. Brand-new stories created especially for the game will also be available.

Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. Engage introduces a universal century war/strategy battle game that unites an array of iconic Gundam characters. Offering an animated portrayal of the Universal Century from Gundam, the game blends animation and battle/adventure elements, bringing an original storyline for players to engage with. The game immerses players in space battlegrounds through 6v6 battles, featuring 3D mobile suits within an auto-play-enabled war/strategy format.
The game’s story mode offers a blend of classic UC stories and new scenarios featuring diverse characters from the series. Players must build teams of mobile suits and pair them with renowned pilots from across the Gundam universe, accessible through the gacha system. Battles unfold automatically, with strategic positioning and loadout considerations being the focus for players.
To commemorate the announcement, Bandai Namco plans to unveil ENGAGE Documents special commentary videos. These documentaries will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the Gundam series and the development of U.C. ENGAGE. Episodes of ENGAGE Documents will be released on the official GundamInfo YouTube channel.
