It has been more than 20 years since digital pet series Tamagotchi’s (たまごっち) release. It may not be as popular as it was back in ’90s and early ’00s, but Bandai Namco decides to bring back the trend by porting to mobile. The title My Tamagotchi Forever will arrive in 2018. Pre-Registration is already open.
Based on the original Tamagotchi’s system, the game is simulation and breeding centric. In the game, players’ pets grow up is Tamatown. They evolve into different types according to how players’ breed them. Mini games are available for earning money to decorate rooms. Besides, players can also communicate among themselves.
As the official site is available in English, French, Chinese, Spanish, German, Turkish, Russian, Korean, Portuguese, and Italian, the game is estimated to be released in these languages worldwide.
