Bandai Namco has released the third official trailer for their upcoming ARPG, Code Vein.
In addition to showing more gameplay footage from the new games, the new trailer shows animations created by the renowned Japanese animation studio, Ufotable.
Code Vein is set in a ruined world. After the “Thorns of Judgement” pierced the Earth’s crust, almost all of mankind was wiped away, leaving only a closed society known as “Veins” and those known as “Revenants” who made a large sacrifice in order to survive.
The Revenants have supernatural abilities which came at a cost of losing the majority of their memory. They are able to retain their humanity by sucking blood. Without the supply of blood, Revenants gradually lose their humanity turning into monsters known as “Lost”.
Code Vein is due out Early 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
