During God Eater 8th Anniversary event, Bandai Namco showcased the franchise’s latest entry – God Eater 3 (ゴッドイーター 3). Sample gameplay and a new trailer were played.
The trailer introduces two jailed main characters, the protagonist (player’s character) and his childhood Yugo (CV: Seki Tomokazu).
Both of them are a new type of God Eater called Adaptive God Eater. During battles, Yugo plays the role of an assistance to players and performs tasks like healing.
The setting is a ruined city plagued by Kaiiki, a disaster that devours buildings.
A long gameplay was demonstrated at the anniversary event also. The game began at 32:00.
God Eater will be released on PC (Steam) and PS4. The schedule is still unknown.
