Wright Flyer Studios’ mobile side-scrolling RPG Shoumetsu Toshi (消滅都市) revealed a TV anime adaption and a new gaming project earlier in May. Today, the anime reveals the first teaser trailer.
The anime plot is based on the game’s story. Most characters from the mobile game including Yuki (CV: Kana Hanazawa), Takuya (CV: Sugita Tomokazu), Akira (CV: Yuiichi Nakamura), Eiji (CV: Masaaki Shingaki), Kikyo (CV: Aimi), Geek (CV: Taisuke Nishimura), and Yumiko (CV: Mitsuki Nakae) are featured in the show.
Kuroko’s Basketball director Miya Shigeyuki is directing the anime at MadHouse. The character design is done by Shokugeki no Soma’s designer Tomoyuki Shitaya, and Fate/stay night composer Kenji Kawai is responsible for the music.
Shoumetsu Toshi follows Takuya and a girl he saved called Yuki. Yuki is believed to be the sole survivor of an apocalypse that destroy an entire city. Three years after the disaster, she receives a message from her lost father, which prompts her and Takuya embark a journey to the destroyed city. There, they unveil the mystery behind this “Lost City”.
The anime’s release schedule is not yet decided.
