On 14th July, during SEGA GAMES PHANTASY STAR Thanks Giving 2019 event, the company revealed new details including the release date and the cast for their upcoming animated series “Phantasy Star Online 2 Episode Oracle (ファンタシースターオンライン2 エピソード・オラクル).
The series is based on the series’ console game Phantasy Star Online 2, focusing on the first three chapters on the game. The story will revolve around Ash ( Ashu – アッシュ), a member of the galaxy exploration team “Noah”. A total of 25 episodes is planned for the series and it is set to air in Japan on October 2019.
