TV anime adaptation of video game Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode Oracle (ファンタシースターオンライン2 エピソード・オラクル) confirmed to premiere on 7th October.
Also, it was announced that vocalist Aimee Blackschleger will perform the opening theme song “Destiny,” and singer Mika Arisaka will perform the ending theme song “Timeless Fortune.”
The King of Fighters: Another Day director Masaki Tachibana (橘 正紀) is directing the anime at GONZO. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood writer Hiroshi Ohnogi (大野木 寛) is handling the series composition, and he is also writing the scripts alongside Shigeru Morita (森田 繁) and Bunsei Asanuma (浅沼 文生).
Unlike Phantasy Star Online 2 The Animation, the previous TV anime adaptation from 2016 featuring an anime-original story, Phantasy Star Online 2: Episode Oracle will adapt the story-line of Episodes 1 to 3 of Phantasy Star Online 2 video game, which was released in Japan for PC, PS4, PS Vita, and Nintendo Switch.
