Based on the 1983 franchise Tama and Friends, spinoff anime “Uchi Tama!? ~ Uchi no Tama Shirimasen ka?~” (うちタマ?! ～うちのタマ知りませんか？～) reveals a new PV and additional cast. The anime is scheduled to premiere on 9th January 2020.
The anime is a spin-off series created in 2017, which reimagines the cast of the franchise as humans. It is directed by “Kakegurui” director Kiyoshi Matsuda (松田 清), with “Shin-chan” writer Kimiko Ueno (うえの きみこ) handling series composition, and Mai Otsuka (大塚 舞) designing the characters. MAPPA and Lapin Track co-produce the anime.
Artist wacci will perform the series’ opening theme song “Friends”, while the ending theme song will change every episode.

There is a poster that is frequently shown in this small town. The sentence “Have you seen our cat, Tama?” is written on it. A boy pays extra attention to this poster and his head is attached with soft kitten ears!? It turns out that all cats in this town has been transformed into humans! Are you interested in the not-so-normal daily life of Tama and his friends?
